Introduction
LOGIC ELEVATORS (PROPRIETARY) LIMITED was registered and incorporated in 1997 under the registration number 97/02389/07 by its founder Danie Jansen Van Vuuren.  With extensive experience we set out to build a company that would specialize in new installations, upgrades, repairs and service.  Danie Jansen van Vuuren (CEO) possesses vast experience in the repair and maintenance of elevators and in the design and manufacture of elevator controllers, and is well known as an absolute expert in this field.  This expertise has been acknowledged by the Pretoria Technikon which has accredited LOGIC ELEVATORS (PTY) LTD as a training entity in Electrical Engineering.

LOGIC ELEVATORS (PTY) LTD are also registered at CIBD with a SI 6 rating and independently rated in terms of the Broad – Based Black Economic Empowerment act of a Level 6 contributor.

Credentials
In certain conditions it has been a better proposition to replace the old worn out elevators with completely new ones, but in other conditions some of the equipment is re-used regarding their condition.  For these installations LOGIC ELEVATORS (PTY) LTD has been a pioneer in the developing and marketing of locally manufactured elevator controllers. It is also true that where the conditions like (excessive heat, damp, high humidity and other extreme conditions) demand a controller that can withstand these conditions and still operate reliably and sufficient, we combine new installations with a locally manufactured controller.  The LOGIC ELEVATORS (PTY) LTD controller has been so successful that there are hundreds installed all over Southern Africa.  Using the SABS standard as a yard stick we have not only designed and build controllers, done complete upgrades or just did an overlay for many installations, but have completed them in an environment of safety first.  Some of our bigger projects has included The Department of Transport and National Works, Department of Public Works, Gensec Property Services, Transnet, SAPOST and many lesser known companies.

As Danie Jansen van Vuuren used to be connected to the Otis Training School and was at the head of the Sabiem Training Facility he does our training and refresher courses.  Although we have registered inspectors in our company we pledge never to do an inspection ourselves, but rather to get an independent inspector and to honor their report.
